    In relation to the significant expansion of its activities, Gugushev & Partners is looking to hire:

    LAWYER with 3 or more years of professional practice in the field of public procurement, contractual law, more specifically with experience in preparing the documentation for participation in PPP, representation before the CPC and the SAC. Additional expertise in consultancy of companies with multinational and cross-border operations, as well as in the field of regulatory and compliance and employment law, shall be considered a great advantage.

    Requirements:

    • Master of Law, University Diploma;
    • Fluency in English language;
    • Excellent computer skills - MS Office pack;
    • A highly flexible person with the ability to execute and perform multiple tasks management;
    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks;
    • Responsible, disciplined and motivated person;
    • Readiness to work in a dynamic high-level business environment;
    • Self-management and proactive approach to the organization of the work and tasks assigned.

    Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

    • Review, drafting, and negotiation of a wide variety of commercial and procurement-related contracts;
    • Court Representation in regards to the specific field of expertise.
    • Advising businesses on public and business-to-business tender processes and participating in contractual negotiations with a range of suppliers, and partners in different sectors;
    • Advising in contract reviews and approval processes;
    • Advising on labour law, regulatory and compliance, real estate matters;
    • Providing general legal advice to Gugushev & Partners Law Office clients;
    • Working side-by-side with other teams in the Law Firm on some of the most complex and high-valued matters in CEE.

    In relation to the expansion of our business activities, Gugushev & Partners is looking to hire:

    Business Development Associate to support the management and implementation of business development activities for the law office and the acquisition of new business.

    Your scope:

    • Work with the leading partners in the office to develop and implement the marketing, communications and business development goals and initiatives locally and internationally;
    • Developing and delivering strategic marketing and business development plans/programs and in cross-marketing initiatives;
    • Understand the local practices and international practices, office initiatives and representations of key clients;
    • Assist with new attorney integration, review and edit announcements of new attorneys, bios, news/press releases and related marketing materials;
    • Follow up on local and international news as well as legal developments to secure a timely and up-to-date reaction from the lawyers in the practice;
    • Understand the ethics rules involved in legal services marketing and business development.

    Your daily duties and responsibilities:

    • Support the creation and maintenance of internal processes to facilitate the needed business development activities;
    • Assist with the development of marketing materials – newsletters, presentations, MailChimp campaigns, stationery and others in coordination with a vendor (vendor management);
    • Coordinate and support the creation of press releases, news, legal articles, interviews and others for the company’s digital marketing campaigns in coordination with a vendor;
    • Support the creation of pre-and post-sale materials – quotes, proposals, offers (based on existing documentation);
    • Maintain the firm’s website - creation of content and vendor management;
    • Attend various local and international events (including out-of-office hours) with networking and marketing purposes as a representative of the law office. Support the Partners in preparation for such events upon need;
    • Coordinate and assist with the development of submissions to a number of international legal directories in order to achieve the highest possible ranking of the practice (IFLR, Legal500, Chambers and Partners and others);
    • Prepare seminar materials and conference book ads. Assist with logistics as needed.

    Requirements:

    • University degree – preferably legal background, marketing and international relations;
    • 2 years experience in marketing/copywriting, back-office sales and/or business development;
    • English language proficiency. Second language is an advantage;
    • MS Office Proficiency (especially PowerPoint and Excel);
    • Experience developing cold calling and e-mailing campaigns;
    • Vendor management experience;
    • Must have soft skills:
      • High level of business correspondence, communication and presentation skills both in English and Bulgarian;
      • Highly flexible person, innovative, collaborative, resourceful and creative with the ability to execute and perform multiple tasks management;
      • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks;
      • Responsible, disciplined and motivated person;
      • Readiness to work in a dynamic high-level business environment with exceptional experience to work in a team;
      • Self-management and proactive approach to the organization of the work and tasks assigned;
      • Ability to think strategically and attention to detail;
      • Strong client service orientation.
