Mariyan Ivanov completed a European law master’s program from Utrecht University, while gaining experience in working with state institutions. This took the form of an internship in the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focused on the communication between member states and the various governmental bodies of the European Union. In his work, before joining Gugushev & Partners Law Firm, Mariyan was responsible for providing protocol services as part of the administration of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, where his duties were concentrated mainly around collaboration with the team of the Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria. These protocol duties provided him with experience in working with numerous government organizations and guests of the state.

The practical accumulation of skills in his working environment, combined with his international legal education, make him a great fit in his role as a Business Development Associate at Gugushev & Partners Law Firm.
