The final stages of this year's National Civil and Commercial Law Competition “Kristian Takov” were held on April 26th and 27th at the Court Chamber.

For the 18th consecutive year, judges, tutors from all universities in the country, and lawyers were involved in the organization of the competition, where law students have the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge in a process close to the practical environment, they are training for. Twelve teams took part at the final stage, which is a simulated trial, and the contested victory was taken by a team from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".

Following in the footsteps of its first scientific supervisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kristian Takov, the competition aims to imbue professional ethics, to create an environment in which talented, young lawyers can exchange knowledge and experience at the highest standards of legal training.

We share the ideas of the organizers, that the main goal of the educational process is to educate inquisitiveness, integrity, independence and normality, promoting the development of the young and talented professionals. We also congratulate our colleagues Stefan Petrov, who took a worthy part in the competition, participating in one of the Sofia University’s teams and Stefani Alexieva, who once again took part in the organization of the event.
