In an interview for @CEE Legal Matters, Ms. Dafinka Stoycheva, Senior Partner at Gugushev and Partners Law Office, talks about the several legislative updates that will support the attorneys in Bulgaria. The push toward green energy, (another) pending government change, and a landmark CJEU decision are some of the other discussed topics.

“During the past year, a lot has changed for the legal profession,” Ms. Stoycheva begins. “The old legislation, concerning the attorney profession was a bit outdated. Many proposals were in place, for a while now, from lawyers' associations,” she adds, with the amendments being “timely”, and there were a number of challenges the jurists were facing.
