A representative of Gugushev & Partners Law Office - Junior associate Georgi Stefanov, participates in the European rounds of the international competition in space law Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition 2019, organized by the International Institute of Space Law. Georgi is part of the team of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".
The European rounds of the competition took place in Paris from 21 to 24 May. This year's case was related to the military use of outer space and the legality of the exploitation of lunar resources. The Sofia University team took part in four matches with universities from Finland, Russia, and Slovenia, which eventually won the European rounds. The competition has been held annually since 1992. For the second time, a Bulgarian university participates in the European circles.
