Atty Victor Gugushev was invited, in his capacity as Honorary Consul of Romania in Bulgaria and Chairman of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce, to participate in the program “In Development” on Bloomberg TV Bulgaria. The discussion focused on the expected consequences for businesses following the collapse of the pro-European government in Romania.

In the interview, he shared that despite the immediate market reaction and the record depreciation of the Romanian leu against the euro, it is still too early to speak of an end to the reforms in the country. However, the political instability may significantly slow down ongoing processes, including the absorption of funds under the European Recovery and Resilience Plan.
