Mr. Victor Gugushev has attended the annual European awards of the authoritative legal journal CEE Legal Matters.

The event took place in Budapest, Hungary. Prizes were awarded to each jurisdiction, with successful deals for 2018 which competed with each other. Mr. Victor Gugushev was invited to attend as a member of the jury evaluating the Bulgarian projects. The official Gala Dinner was attended by representatives of almost all leading law offices in Europe, including those with an international presence. PONTES the CEE lawyers legal network also had nominated projects.

During the event, Mr. Gugushev had the opportunity to discuss with his European counterparts potential co-operation on various cross-border projects. Opportunities in the energy, construction, and insurance law sectors were discussed in private talks.

CEE Legal Matters Editor-in-Chief David Stuckey and Managing Editor Radu Cotarcea presented the development of the legal services market in Europe and congratulated everyone on the successful projects over the past year. Mr. Victor Gugushev had the opportunity to talk to them and discuss potential joint projects that CEE Legal Matters will implement in Bulgaria in 2019 and 2020.
