Gugushev & Partners Law Office advised the founders of Flat Manager AD, a rental property management company in Bulgaria, on the sale of а majority stake to Poland's short-term rental operator, Renters Sp. z o.o.

This transaction represented the first cross-border acquisition by Renters Sp. z o.o. as part of its strategy to consolidate the traveler accommodation market across the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. The deal was backed by the private equity investment fund Enterprise Investors, which finances Renters' regional consolidation platform.

As primary legal counsel to the selling founders, the corporate and M&A team at Gugushev & Partners assisted throughout the lifecycle of the transaction. Our scope of work included structuring the cross-border deal, drafting and negotiating the core transaction documents, specifically the Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) and the Shareholders’ Agreement (SHA) - and handling all corporate closing formalities.
