Gugushev & Partners Law Office advised ELTA Systems, an Israeli state-owned company and subsidiary of IAI - Israel Aerospace Industries, in connection with its participation in a procedure organised by the Bulgarian Ministry of Defence for the acquisition of seven new three-coordinate (3D) radars for the Bulgarian Air Force.

As part of the engagement, the firm advised ELTA Systems on the legal aspects of participating in the procedure, including the requirements applicable to participants and bids, the preparation and review of the required documentation, and ensuring that the proposal complied with the applicable procedural requirements. The engagement required an in-depth understanding of the applicable regulatory framework and the specific requirements governing defence procurement procedures, as well as the coordination of the legal aspects of an international company’s participation in a complex procurement process in Bulgaria.
