Gugushev & Partners Law Office advised the owners of Debt Collection Agency JSC, a company specialized in acquiring debt portfolios from banks, financial institutions, and utility companies, on the sale of 100% of their shares in the company to Ultimo Netherlands BV, a fully owned subsidiary of B2Holding, Norway. The deal included Debt Collection Agency's subsidiary in Romania and the Bulgarian subsidiary specialized in collecting debts of legal entities - Smart Collect. Following the acquisition, we continue to advise the client on daily basis in connection to various corporate matters as well as on the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679/EU) and we serve them as their designated Data Protection Officer. We also advise them in connection with all intellectual property matters related to specialized collection software rights.
